First you need to get some training and to decide what type of animator you want to be : 2d animator, 3d animator, stop motion etc.
Secondly you need to build your portfolio, this is a crucial step before you apply for a job.
Then, apply for a job by using every possible platform: social media, job search engine, tell your friends that you are looking for a job so they can ask their friends and most important don't give up, looking for a job is frustrating sometime and it is important to keep looking and keep learning

Rahila’s Answer

If you're thinking about a career in animation, you might first narrow down what type of animation in terms of the work that would be done. For example, are you thinking of creating animation for movies or for gaming? Animation can even be used in other careers like medicine, forensics and advertising. Based on the type of animation you want to do and the career you choose, look for degrees that would be relevant as well as companies. You should then go to the "Careers" pages of any companies that do the type of animation you want and search for "internships". You should also talk to the Careers Office at your college or university to see if they have resources.
Thank you comment icon I'm thinking to do animations for films but I didn't know where can I get started and this is really helpful! Thank you so much! Bing
