Hi Devon,
In order to push your career in music to new heights, I would advise you start out by figuring out what your “why” is? Why do you want to become a music producer/rapper? Why did you fall in love with this idea? Who do you enjoy listening to/who are your favorite artists? Do you want your sound to resemble theirs or do you want to create your own? All great questions to ask yourself and these will give you the answers you need to push your career in the right direction. Once you have answered all of the questions, you have laid the foundation down and now you just have to go out there and record your music. Practice makes perfect, so try to master your sound before recording it officially, so you know what sound you want to achieve. Lastly, try to do a few open mics around town, team up with other artists and take tips from them, post your music on social media outlets so that friends, family, and new fans can support you and enjoy your music!
