Kelly’s Answer

Hi Tiffanie,

Great question! In college (and now) I use a few things to stay organized with all my work and time commitments. Overall when I'm multitasking, I try to manage my time and break down tasks into to do lists!

I started using Google Calendar to plan my time for classes, club meetings, intramural sports practice and events with friends. I also use Wunderlist, https://www.wunderlist.com , to keep my "to do" items organized. You can even segment out to do lists for each class or type of activity, set reminders, or share your list with friends. There are many other tools and tricks out there that do the same thing, so feel free to google and test out a few to see what works for you.

Best,
Kelly LaBuff

Figure out what is your ultimate goal, & what actions need to be taken first, say no to tasks that don't help achieve your goal (maybe find a different job or internship & other activities that are related to your dream career if your current ones aren't), eliminate distractions, stay focused, outsource/delegate some smaller everyday tasks, take a short break every now and then to improve your focus upon returning to the task
