Hi! I truly believe that putting in more hours do not necessarily translate to higher rate of success. It really depends on person to person, if you think you are confident with your progress even if people around you are putting in more hours, I think you'd do great. Please do not feel pressurized by how many hours are other people devoting to their studies, it really boils down to the passion you have for the subject and the ability of the individual to grasp the concepts. Important thing is not to burn yourself out in the process.

Hi Hitesh
I find when a person is trying to study for a test or anything they want to learn it depends on the person. Putting in more hours doesn't guarantee success and it may hurt. It depends on how well a person can concentrate or retain information. Depending on the person the hours can vary, my suggestion is to study and record when you start losing focus. Stop there, take a short break, go outside, do something you like, and then go back to studying. After some trials you should have an average of how many study hours work for you. Be sure to get plenty of rest and good nutrition for the brain. This process can be repeated until the subject is learn.
Good Luck!
