Mark’s Answer

If your desire to be a qualified behavioral health therapist, you will likely need to obtain a Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work or Counseling. This suggestion is based on my understanding of the requirements in the United States which may or may not correspond with academic requirements in South Africa. Best to you with your professional aspirations.

Teryll’s Answer

I'm also not familiar with South African universities, but in the US you typically need to declare a major so that you take prerequisites for that major. I imagine there would be some overlap in required classes with your degree in humanities. I would recommend reaching out to the admission department of some of the schools you are interested in.
