What are some of the more competitive jobs for computer science?

I want to know what kind of jobs are competitive in this field. #computer-science

Gotcha ok. Arguably the more competitive jobs are some of the bigger, higher paying tech companies (amazon, apple, Facebook, Google). Microsoft is still up there. They will be paying close to 140k straight out of undergrad now, which is a big reason for the competitiveness. They also tend to have good perks, and lots of people to learn stuff from, and the best tech to work on.


It doesn't end there though, Wall Street jobs for instance can be equally well paying (or more), and there's a lot of smaller tech companies working on a lot of cool stuff too.

Thank you comment icon Yea the title varies by company, whether it be software engineer, developer, etc. Rote programmer or web developer may make less, maybe not. Daniel Moy
