Joseph’s Answer

Hi Taylor,

That is an amazing skillset to have, no doubt! I work with attorneys all day. One thing to keep in mind is that the profession is changing because of technology. This is great for people who need lawyers, because getting access to justice should become easier and easer over time. When I speak with college students about considering law school one thing I bring up is technology. While you certainly do not need to have a proclivity for tech, it will better position you for future success. So if you can leverage those amazing talents for arguing your point and couple that with a bent toward technology you will be in an amazing space in the coming years.

Best of luck!
-Joe

Vince’s Answer

Hi Taylor,

I remember a friend telling me that the single best exercise she went through while in law classes during college was one where her professor had her argue in favor of a point that she didn't agree with. It forced her to look at all possible arguments (including her original one) and develop strong cases for each of them. It sounds counter-intuitive, but at the end of the day she felt that it gave her a much more rounded perspective on how to approach a topic. Good luck in your endeavors!
