What are some reliable sources to find internships?

Lately, I've been trying to find some internships because it is one of the closest ways a high school student can truly understand the real world and what career one wants to pursue. It is really easy to search things up on Google, but I'm not sure if it is reliable. I personally would love to do something with writing, photography, cinema, history, literature, and during the summer, I'm completely open to traveling. I'm also open to being an assistant to someone or work for a larger company. Honestly, I think this is one of the best ways to explore the real world to see what I do and do not like as well as create connections that can last a lifetime. I'm just not sure where to look. #career #internships #career-path #job-search #internship #career-development #intern #creative-internship

Thank you comment icon I would also check out: internships.com (a Chegg-powered site), indeed.com, looksharp.com, LinkedIn, college.monster.com. Jackie

You are starting in the right path, but do not worry, all experiences are valuable, you have nothing too loose if you try right?
Bad roles are good and important to us, this way the learn about yourself and know exactly what we do not want for life.
Be open mind for job experience, even if is to work in s grocery store, you will learn, you will connect to people, an from there you can start new jobs.

I'd ask your teachers, fellow students, and other friends if they're aware of any internships. Sometimes, they'll surprise you. Also, have you talked to your counselor yet? They have lots of resources and probably have a good list of internships on hand.
