Thank you comment icon So I would suggest looking up some cheap hair schools around you and try to sign up for some of those. Coming from a student who is also trying to get into the field of cosmetology also you need to start things on what point you want to get to in braiding. Halaya

With any career or job interest I recommend finding volunteer or internship opportunities. This gives you a chance to build your skills as well as see what a typical day looks like. Talk to someone already in the field to understand pro/cons and ask questions if they would have done anything differently when they started their career.
