Hanya’s Answer

One way to become confident in your work is to stay clear of burnout! In order to prevent burnout, it is extremely important to set time aside for yourself! Taking at least an hour during the work can prove extremely beneficial to you! I would also recommend decluttering your workspace of anything that stresses you out! Another helpful tip is keeping a to-do list of all the things you want to accomplish!

Shelby’s Answer

You can start by taking pictures of your own work for reference. I agree with the other answers that talking to someone at a salon and seeing what advise they have can be helpful. Then start with your close friends. Practice on them and start gaining confidence, once you get there look into cosmetology school and work on getting better from there

George’s Answer

Just remember that EVERYONE, yes everyone at some point in time has gone through the same challenges. There have been numerous times in my career where I didn't think my work was good enough, what helped me was realizing that I had spent a bunch of time and effort to improve myself and either I was going to get praise for that work or I was going to get feedback that would allow me to get better. Often times I would get both praise and feedback to help me identify what areas I needed to work on.
