Attending a technical/trade school will make it a little easier if you want to work as an Electrician. Also, getting an Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from a community college can also help.

These schools do have career centers where you can ask for help and search for opportunities.

Definitely recommend going through trade school and then looking through your network or job boards for apprenticeships.
