Baxter’s Answer
Time in the military can be an important step to learning the life skills that will help you throughout your educational endeavors and your career. Upon completing your time in the military you should seek a college program that has a strong engineering school (ideally one that has a focus on nuclear power) and start to build a network (by talking with professors, career counselors and graduates) that will help you better understand the field of nuclear engineering. You have a long path in front of you -- keep your mind open to other opportunities along the way.
