Hi David! Practice, practice, practice! The more you get used to drawing with the different mediums, the better you'll get! You can watch videos or read books with tips on how to improve certain skillsets, but practicing is going to be the best way to get better!

First and foremost my dear you can try improving your art skills by using the stationery items. Like you can watch a ton of YouTube videos where there are plenty number of sketching tutorials and vice versa. Secondly regarding doing it digitally keep practising on your tablet or on your favorite device ...Watch tutorials and keep trying is the trick.
So now at a certain point you understand that you gotta create target goals in art creation keep watching videos and keep learning the strategies behind them.Then comes improving the Sketch Quality and Line Art. Study and practice you will master it someday.
