Can animators work from home?
My parents have worked from home my entire life, my dad doing caregiver work and my mom being a sales representative. I was wondering if that same privilege is given to animators? #animation #career

Hi!
Yes - animators should most definitely be able to work from home. Technology is more than advanced enough to enable you to engage in compute intense activities from anywhere. Also - there are plenty of options when it comes to online collaboration tools. The key here is to find a company (or start one yourself!) that has a solid work from home policy.
All the best!

Hi,
Over this past year, 2020, many jobs/careers have gone virtual/work from home. As long as you have the appropriate software and equipment at home that is acceptable to your employer or the company with which you have a contract, then conceivably you can work from home. However, the final determination is based on what your employer is requiring.
Hope this helps.
