What are the benefits of getting an after degree?
Lately, I have been thinking about an after degree in education (hypothetically). How would this benefit me? Does an after degree expand my career options? #career #education #career-counseling #school #interviews #degree #after-college

Expanding your education is the most beneficial for careers. A college education, whether it's community college, bachelors degree, or vocational, your chances of getting a good, stable job are higher. You can't expect people to hire you if you don't show you're dedicated to what they need from you. By getting some kind of degree you're showing your dedication.

Hello, Sharon -
First, let me commend you for giving this choice some thought! If, by an "after degree," you mean a Master's, I would have to agree with the previous answers: a Master's degree will broaden your career options and show you as a potentially dedicated employee. Additionally, it will give you an opportunity to concentrate in an area that appeals to your particular interest. Additional training of any kind, whether a Master's or a certificate program, adds to your arsenal of skills, as well as adding to your network of professionals.
Best of luck to you!

Hi Sharon,
I hope you do consider getting a Master's Degree in Education after finishing your Bachelor's degree. This will give you more experience and knowledge in the field as well as a higher starting pay when you begin to teach!
Good luck in your future studies!
