Hi Deena,
I'm not a pediatrician yet, but it's what I would like to do as a career. What really inspires me about it is the atmosphere of the office. Sure, there are crying kids and sniffling noses, but there's a sense of peace in the repetition of the job that really appeals to me. Pediatricians I've talked to remark that they see similar problems day in and day out while getting to help kids out. The field also has set hours if you work in a clinic, so it's nice to be in a job that sees similar day to day issues while having the free time in life to take breaks and get away from the work too.

Yes! I 100% agree with what you're saying- there is a sort of peace revolved around the job and it interests me to pursue this career.

I am an educator by profession and though training, practice, reading , evaluations, etc surely qualified me professionally, my total personal all-around focus and direction rhymed with the professional training I obtained. The JOB one chooses may not actually matter but the personal instinctive connection to the same makes the ultimate difference or similarity accordingly. Any work you choose to do is actually your calling naturally.

Hi Deena,
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate right now, and what inspired me to do this job is the experiences I had. Because I went through a really tough time growing up and I felt alone through it, I wanted to be sure to be there for others so they did not feel the same way! That is my main inspiration.
