Congratulations on your journey!! Computer Science is not just coding. It involves a mix of things. Your learning can be at any level. Sometime you would need to understand how encryptions are done and things related to security, sometimes on database and its architecture, sometimes just a process like AGILE. There are many interesting concepts which come your way. Please don't think that you can skip a subject or a part of it because you dont understand, as that for sure will come during your actual JOB.

Learn any concept with questions like Why should i use it, When should i use it, How should i use it. Do not get overwhelmed, it is ok.. We all have done it, we will also learn new things and so will you. All the Best!

If you want to see the course work, you can visit any college or university website that has the major. You then have the ability to drill down to see the types of classes. Compare different schools to get an idea of which you like better.

At the end of the day, what matters, is what you attract to. Only you will know the answer. So take various electives in college or read/study on your own to find a path you will like.
