My understanding is that you need a Bachelor degree to get into Dental School. https://www.collegeconsensus.com/degrees/dentistry/ and https://www.usnews.com/education/best-graduate-schools/articles/how-to-get-into-dental-school-and-become-a-dentist list some of the requirements and best Undergrad degree programs.

Typically, dental school is very competitive, vigorous, and very expensive. It does require a bachelor degree, and you need a high GPA in a program like biology, pre-med or pre-dentistry. You also typically need to get good marks on your GRE (graduate school testing).
To earn your DDS, it can easily cost over $300,000 just for the post-graduate portion of your education. Dentists are typically high earners, but sometimes the stress of student loans may not be worth it. It can be a rewarding profession, and there are specializations (orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, etc.)
Other professions in dentistry include dental hygienists (typically requires an associate degree), dental assistant (requires an associate degree or certificate), office manager or patient representative. There are many careers to choose from depending on what you are most interested in!
