Hope,
Jack and Sagi have good advice. I suppose I wonder what made you ask this question? What inspired you to think about being a cook/chef? There are many different lanes in the Food/Hospitality industry. Do some research. Find a company that has a good training program in place. Do not worry what position it is with the company but get in . Another path, depending on your interest, is doing a stage. You don't get paid so you want to make sure that you are doing this for an exceptional Chef. Once you understand what is motivating you to ask this, you can better pick your lane. The important thing is whatever your lane, work for a company/ place or Chef that will train you well. Do not worry about your initial position or how much you get paid. Focus on learning for a good source.
