favorite thing to cook?

I'm Jalen I'm 18 years old #chef

Thank you comment icon As an 18 year old, lots of times we forego the quality of our nutrition for the convenience of quicker snacks. The ideal balance is to find something easy and quick to make, that can also provide us with sufficient nutrients that also tastes good. Lots of times , breakfast feels like the biggest offender meal, many people skip breakfast, have a quick pastry, or even just a cup of coffee. One of the easiest meals to make for breakfast is a quick omelette or some scrambled eggs. Alongside this you can mix some spinach in with your eggs and even put cheese in for more protein as well as better taste. If your feeling extra fancy and you have some time, you can even have some avocado or a slice of toast. Chirag

Hi Jalen, I am not a chef, but I love to cook. My favorite thing is making homemade pasta. I do it differently because I am vegan. I always try to find new things to blend into my pasta and make ravioli or tortellini. I also love making homemade pastries. I love the science of baking.

Hi Jalen! My favorite thing to cook is pasta, in all it's presentations, you may think of pasta as just a great dish of carbs, but you can mix it with so many choices. It is easy, it is versatile and it is delicious.

I'm 23 years, and yeah, it is hard to find time to make a really nutritious and delicious food when you are a student.
And speaking of breakfast, you should try making oats , you can make them the night before and mix them with any fruit you have, peanut butter, or just eat them cooked with milk. they are really nutritious and super easy and quick to cook!

the best of lucks!

As a chef my favorite thing is not relevant. I cook what the customer will buy. And what the customer will like. As a person I like to grill and smoke meats. I also like to make different things turning leftovers and bits and pieces I find in my refrigerator. Also at home i trend to do easy things because my work schedule is so long and i do not have that much time at home to cook.

Crème Brule is always a great item to cook. It is fairly simple to mix the ingredients, but to get the right amount of vanilla to egg ratio can be challenging. And then the fun... torching the sugar to carmelize on top.

I would recommend trying to make a vanilla first, but then adventure into a coffee based, chocolate based, and strawberry based version as well. Each requiring precision on the flavors.
