Hello Ruveyda,
Although I am not a Naturopath , I work with several N.D.’s and am familiar with the requirements and programs. In order to best prepare you for an N.D. Program I suggest pursuing an undergraduate degree in medical sciences, nutritional science or biochemistry. Review the requirements for N.D. programs and reach out to program directors at Naturopathic Schools you may be interested in for specific questions and feedback. I suggest speaking with Naturopaths to understand career options, benefits and limitations to ensure this is the career path you want to pursue. Also as an undergraduate seek opportunities to get involved in research (clinical if possible) as well as volunteer at patient clinics and shadow N.D.’s/clinicians if possible. Good luck and enjoy your journey!
