What does a veterinarian do?

The veterinarian is just like a human doctor.
They help life and save life.
As you can see, humans are not 100% the same as animals, so veterinarians will have deeper knowledge about animals.
Also, the hardest part for veterinarians is animals don't speak, so they have to spend more judging the symptdrons.

Hi Hope,
I work in insurance and underwrite veterinarians insurance policies so what I have seen is it really will depend on what field of Veterinary Science you specialize in. There are vets who see only dogs, or only cats, or only dogs and cats. There are also vets who only see horses or vets who only see farm animals. There are also reptile specific or exotic animals like those in zoos. I would say the most common veterinary practice type is for small companion animals like dogs, cats, gerbils, birds, etc.
