Should math and science be majors?

In the cosmetology field in college is science and math majors for it? Or is it a WHOLE different field itself? #college #science #math #cosmetology

Thank you comment icon Note that the career for science major isnt very promising. I know pp love science but hate their science job cuz of lowpay Vy

Frank’s Answer

Hi Nolan, I assume you mean "cosmology", which is the study of the nature of the universe. In that case, yes, math and science (particularly astrophysics) will be the applied studies areas that you'll want to major in.

Igal’s Answer

Hi Nolan,

For cosmology, you could get there with an undergraduate degree in physics or math. This was my original plan when I was an undergraduate, where I majored in math and minored in physics. This is important because cosmology will likely involve a lot of astrophysics, and that means being comfortable with higher math and the various concepts of physics.
