Navaneetha Krishnan’s Answer
I do not work on weekends.
Weekends are for refreshing and rejuvenating.
I use my weekends to eat well, take sufficient rest, clean my house and go out for shopping.
Once in a month I prefer to go for a tour over the weekend as travels keeps me highly energetic.
During weekends, I prefer to take couple of hours to learn new technologies. One of mentors told me, people who learn and practice during the weekends are better than 80% of their competitors.

Hi, I have not worked on weekends since the time I have joined my company. Weekends and holidays are meant for spending quality time with yourself and family. You can just sleep whole day😅 or do something that interests you, go outside and meet your friends.

I work on weekends; in fact, it is rotational. Life gets imbalanced. I believe a job is something that should satisfy your soul.

Hi Diana - Great Question!
I think ultimately this depends on the job you have. Restaurants and retail generally are open 7 days a week and often require at least one weekend a month. Also so jobs might have requirements, processes and tasks that require workers to 365 days a year. Think of hospitals, energy, water, gas, nursing homes, and delivery services.
I generally work every weekend, however I sometimes will ask someone to cover for me so I can spend time with family.

Sheetal’s Answer
Yes i work on weekends- two weekends in a month. Generally in my old IT company which was customer facing including operations work, Mondays were very busy and weekends were generally quiet, so I was able to focus on my tasks more during the weekend and stay off the Monday heat. But having said this, weekends were needed to catch up with family and friends. So there should be a balance. One should not work all weekend in a month as per my opinion.
