Indira’s Answer

You will need an undergraduate degree (4 years) and an LSAT score in order to get into law school. Law school is 3 years (or 4 if you go part-time) if you are in a standard program. You would graduate w/ a Juris Doctorate degree. You could also do a joint program where you get a masters and and a masters degree at the same time... which would also be 4 years. You would then be considered a lawyer. To be considered a practicing attorney, you would have to pass the Bar Exam. Afterwards, there are specialized fields that you can get a degree in called an LLM... which typically takes an additional 2-3 years after you've obtained your J.D.... that would make you a J.D., L.L.M.

Camille’s Answer

Like Jessica said you need an undergraduate degree (4 years) and then to finish law school (the degree is called a juris doctor). Law school is usually 3 years. There are a few programs that are 2 years (shortened programs) and you also have the option to go part-time, which takes 4 years. But on average you're looking at 7 years in school.
