Getting an internship abroad is a fantastic way to get experience and exposure to your field of study and to network for future opportunities. It can also look fantastic on your resume when you graduate.
I went to college in the US but one year I was able to get an internship at an advertising agency in Mexico City Mexico. The experience of working in Mexico City was amazing. I not only met several key people in the advertising agency world- but it also gave me the opportunity to meet and network with the international advertising managers on the customer side for several key international accounts. Those contacts helped me better understand what I ultimately wanted to pursue and where- as well as helped me get positions in those international roles. Additionally, it really made my resume look more well-rounded and complete.
Ultimately I did not stay in the advertising industry- but the experience during my international internship with the ad agency in Mexico helped me better understand the international environment - and solidified my interest to pursue a career in the international space. And those contacts I made opened doors for me and helped kick-start my career.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck!

An internship abroad can help you to understand how business work in other countries which will help you in a lot of global companies in the future.
It also will look great on your resume especially when you are then also learn to speak another language, this will differentiate you from all the other applicants out there.
The other good thing about taking an internship abroad is that you will learn a lot about yourself, as you are not only transitioning into a job, but also into another culture and another country. this could also be a con for some as you will be on your own. Of course the company will often help you transition but you have to be open to learn new things and open to a different work culture.
I hope that this will help and the best of luck.

Studying abroad is a fantastic way to expose yourself to different cultures which is always a plus when you enter into the business world. The workforce is extremely diverse and constantly changing so it's imperative you have the ability to respect/appreciate a different frame of reference others bring to the table.
In addition, it looks great on your resume!
