I see myself working on my master's program in Physician Assistant. Right now, I am working to pay down some debts. You can't start a Master's without an official transcript so my troubles of not being able to have the money to completely pay off balances from the schools I attended have been a stumble block for me is and has been very stressful. However that hasn't stopped me from working towards my goals and getting the proper training I need to prepare for my master's. I also do see being in a better spot where I will be able to do more in my community and hope to one day create a scholarship for students like myself to get the help they need so they don't have to finish a degree and never see it. I think it is so important to be able to hold it in your hand so you can get that job you want. Not saying every degree can do that but it's the reassurance just knowing you have something behind your name to get you ahead if that makes sense.

Hello Shardae,
Greetings! I love this question. This is because I ask the same to all the students/professionals alike when I deliver Talk or conduct Leadership Seminars. The level of students or type of schools/colleges vary from absolute remote place (village level) with a very little of exposure to the outside world to the top of line schools/colleges/universities in the country (India) and same goes for the professionals. I am sure it's no brainer that answers vary and at times poles apart. But one thing is very common amongst all the answers that they give were honest. If someone has dream of becoming a doctor/engineer/teacher/lawyer or for that matter a chef or a bartender, they stop thinking beyond that point (goal might get accomplished in a year or two or say five years) and that is where I step in. I then ask them to be with me for a process of searching true goal / or at least try to find out 'what you want to be'! Then I take them through a journey (process developed by self which is about 20-30 mins or may be more, depends!) and I find the same person (student/professional) has been transformed and they come out with true goal or nearly a big picture about their lives. Well, that's a process which I like most to conduct whenever opportunities arise or tempting!
Coming back to your question, I would like to ask you the same question that what do you see for yourself five years from now. Be realistic! I am sure you have not asked this question to know goal of others in life for building up data and make an analysis for a project, rather you want to draw a lesson and make up your own mind. I may be wrong but that's what I make out from your question.
Well, at my age (55 yrs +), people look at nothing but want to close all the issues that has remained incomplete/unfulfilled. Help children realize their goals and be at support. In case, I have to answer for self than my answer would be travelling across the globe and help people realize their dreams, channelize their energy for betterment of the society so that this earth becomes a better and safer place to live. After all, this is the only home for all the species that earth has today. I would end with a prayer in Sanskrit: Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Bhavantu Niramaya (meaning thereby let all be happy and all be healthy). Om Shanti! Om Shanti! Om Shanti! (Let there be Peace, Peace and Peace!). Amen!

In the next five years I plan to have finished my Masters for PA school and my PhD in Emergency Medicine after finishing up my Physician Assistant (PA). I hope to have settled down with a family as well and I plan after that to only work for a short time until I can become independent with my other health center and I hope to open at least 5 or so in varies states to help so I guess it would be a nonprofit. I figured I would save as much money in an IRA until I was ready to build and open business.
