If you are a high school or college student, a volunteer/internship opportunity in just about any setting related to law enforcement or mental health will serve you well. The idea is to become acquainted with environments that are associated with forensic psychology. If you are already a graduate student in forensic psychology, you can look to your university, the American Psychological Association, and forensic psychology associations to direct you appropriate opportunities.
