Tess’s Answer

Hello,

Seasonal work is probably a good idea. I would check with big box stores and/or other retail stores that need temporary help. Restaurants are also a good option.

Hope this helps.

You would like to raise some monies for Christmas to buy the Christmas gifts for your family and friends. I believe this would be a warm and happy Christmas.
I believe it would be busy hours for many retails stores, e.g. Department Store, Supermarkets, etc. They may hire temporary staff for decoration and also in their sales team as well. You can look for their recruitment posts .
On the other hand, some families may look for some people to help on cleaning, gardening, etc. You can look for these in the neighbourhood as well. Also, due to the festive seasons, some parents may hang out with their friends, they may look for babysitter to look after their children on temporary basis. This is also part time opportunities.
Hope this helps! The more important is to ensure the work is safe and suitable for your age. Good Luck!
Wish you have a Merry Christmas! Happy 2022!

Well I think it will largely depend on your location. December is a Christmas holiday break so there's lot of demand for seasonal workers. Department stores and local stores looking for stock boys are a good places to check out. Tutoring is also a great alternative.

Temp agencies are always a good option. Temp agencies specialize in finding job placements for those looking to work odd jobs for a short amount of time in their area, such as office clerks or janitorial services. Some temp agencies offer hourly jobs that offer more than the minimum wage and also pay weekly. With many companies still too fearful to commit to full-time workers, there are temp jobs to be had.

You can also do surveys online from paid survey sites. If interested in that, here are the best get paid to survey sites that mail the survey

Hello Reabetswe,

Most of the stores that will be busy during Christmas holiday hire temporary worker or part-timer, you may search or apply, like maybe store inside malls, fast-food or restaurant establishments. Some people do free-lancing work too to extra money even if they are working full time already. Maybe you can try that. Like for example you love baking, maybe you can sell cupcakes, or make giveaways especially to the people who do not have time to make one for Christmas part or Christmas gathering. I agree with Zahid, that you can look for online work so that even after holiday season if you have more time after that you may still continue to work at your own time and pace. I hope this helps.

all the best!

Cheryl’s Answer

If your neighbors will be visiting family during the holidays and need dog walkers or pet care, you could see about making extra money by offering your services. In your community, if you are involved in any groups with message boards about short-term work, that could help, too.
