Hi Nykira,

Taking the time to find out "what makes you You" is time well spent and will help to guide you to some fulfilling majors and career paths.

A personal story: when I went to college, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do either. So I figured that a major in Business Administration was broad enough to be marketable while affording me a variety of concentrations. I knew that I wasn't the biggest math lover, so that automatically removed accounting and finance from my career choices at that time. However, I did know that I wanted to do something that involved people, creativity and fun. So of the remaining available concentration choices, I ended up picking marketing -- not knowing that the learning would serve me well in job interviews or selling ideas to Clients. Yay!

Four questions that I've heard from multiple authors might also help, as they have me:

1. If every job paid $1, what would excite you enough to get up on Monday mornings (and every other)?
2. What problems in the world make you angry? You might be part of the solution.
3. What gifts/talents do your parents and friends see in you? Ask them, if you don't know.
4. What are your "go to" things to do and read more about when you have free time.

Lastly, have you noticed a pattern in the classes that you really enjoy and have great success in without much effort -- however challenging? If there is one, pay attention. It's a great clue to help answer your questions.

Have fun on the discovery path!

Ashish’s Answer

Hello dear, very gud question.

Ok when I have to choose the career I will do what others are mostly choosing. This is a fact I am telling to you.

Always remember that whatever a person will choose or decide by hook or crook, he/she can make it the best for them self.

Remember,

1. Believe on your decisions. Whatever the decisions you will take into your life, just believe on that. Like what I have chosen is right for me and I will be the best in this field.

2. Pursue your career far from your home. I mean to say don't stay at home.

Best of luck
