What are some good colleges to go to , to earn a masters in forensics

I would say it depends on the type of forensics. Do you want to ultimately be a dna technician, a criminologist, a crime scene investigator? Do you like medicine and have an interest in being a forensic pathologist and performing autopsies? The DNA specialists that I have worked with had an emphasis in biology. The blood stain pattern analyst that I have worked with focus on criminal justice classes and physics (there's a lot to blood patterns). The forensic pathologists that I have worked with performed fellowships after completing medical school. Do you like working in a lab environment or do you really want to go to the crime scenes. I can't recommend any particular colleges, but you need a strong biology background first. Consider looking up people who do what you want to do and see where they attended school. There's a great special by PBS/Frontline called the Real CSI that I show to my law students. It may be a great way to start looking at the various forensic disciplines that are available. Good luck.
