Hi Azandia,
It's great to hear that you are interested in criminal justice! The length of time it takes to obtain a degree in that field varies. Are you looking to obtain an Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree? An Associate's generally takes about two to three years, and a Bachelor's normally takes about four to five years to complete, but this can fluctuate based on the school you are attending, how many courses you take per semester, internship opportunities, your goals for the future, etc. What would you like to do upon completing your degree? I noticed that you tagged "homicide detective" and "crime scene investigation." Each of these may have differing degree and experience requirements based on the department you want to work for and your location. In order gain a better understanding of the length of time your degree will take, I would suggest doing more research into your specific area of interest, potential places of employment, and colleges that you are looking to attend. That way, you can begin to set goals for the future and learn more about ways to reach those goals.
I hope this helps!
Have a great day! Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!
Sincerely,
Madeline

there's still many agencies that require a few semesters of college class to qualify for an entry-level position.
