I highly recommend the University of Cincinnati's DAAP program (College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning). It's a very thorough, competitive, and prestigious art/architecture program. If my memory serves me right, there are portfolio reviews every year to make sure your work is "up to snuff" and everyone who goes there is hungry and willing to put in the work to achieve their dreams and goals. They have an awesome co-op/work-study program, too, with connections to notable companies. It is a five-year Bachelor's program in which you rotate semesters of in-class study with semesters on PAID internship. It allows you to build real-life work experience, make money, and network to set you up for success after you graduate. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Hi Arianna! Here's a link to Niche. They compile data every year on the best colleges around the world and are a good reference for college research. The top 5 colleges they have listed for architecture are Rice University, Cornell University, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Southern California, and Yale University.
The website gives you reasons why so they rank the colleges so I would definitely give it a read

A good resource for architectural school rankings is Design Intelligence.

They publish annually and have several criteria subsets you can review, also. The current year's data may require purchase, but previous years are posted online.

I would recommend college classes in structural design, fine arts: sculpture - drawing - painting, and current computer programs for architectural design (SketchUp, AutoCad / Revit, InDesign, etc), architectural history, and architectural design and theory classes.
