My understanding is that in South Carolina, employers do not have to offer paid vacations to employees. However, many do if it is a national corporate policy or it's needed to attract the right employee. Often larger companies do while small business do not.

In todays world it varies Some people may opt for more pto as opposed to a higher wage Also depends on employer You can accrue time off with some or you have vacation and sick days We now have 5 sick days that are available to you either regarding you or family
