Hi there! It sounds like you might be from the Greater Cincinnati area where I was born and raised! Miami University in Oxford, Ohio is a GREAT school. Many have called it the "Ivy League of the Midwest," but it is an especially good school for Biology, Environmental Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Sustainability. I was lucky enough to go to High School nearby and one of my High School teachers was also a part-time professor and researcher in Miami's College of Arts and Sciences who specialized in Zoology. A few of my friends ultimately went to school there for Zoology as well, but it is a very challenging and competitive school. While it is also a party school, you will have to work very hard to be successful and gain your degree, but in the end, it is TOTALLY worth it.

Indiana University Bloomington has such great programs for students who want to study biology and this is me not being biased since I am a student there.
