Thank you comment icon Hi Voc! I see you have #cashier on this question, however you asked a question that sounds like it is about finance. Could you edit your question and clarify which profession you are asking about? I want to make sure you get the proper advice from Professionals 🙂 Alexandra Carpenter, Admin

You should start with personal finance. And with sales, depends on what you want to sell right.

For both of this topic, we need start with fundamentals.

1) Start with "personal finance".
-> Personal finance will help to learn about the credits, bank accounts, trading stocks, etc. Which will help you to build fundamental within finance.

2) Search for "fundamental of sales."
-> Sales is communication. If you can get better in communication, it will be a breeze.

Everyone is different. You might be a reader, or a visual person. Personally, I am a visual person. What I would do if I need to learn something new. I will go to youtube and watch 3-5 minute video on the topic that I am interested in. The video will provide the general idea, like summary. Then, I will find playlist with 4-5 videos, no more than 3-5 minutes long, each. I will write notes. I would go back to the video multiple times if I still do not get it.

Good luck!

Hi!  I recommend Dave Ramsey's money management concepts.  He has a lot of content you can learn about online. Live modestly, share with others and save/invest as much as you can. You'll be amazed!

Sales is primarily about confidence and persistence.  When selling to your target market, every "no" is one step closer to a "yes".  You just have to keep refining your pitch as you see what works and what does not.  Keep presenting your offer to as many as you can, as effectively as you can and you will find success.
