What are some traits/characteristics that doctors must keep in order to work successfully?

In any helping profession, a person must have genuine empathy for people. Being able to care about your patients without taking it home with you is an important skill set. It is also said that an excellent bedside manner is important.


Doctors I have enjoyed going to have always been professional but courteous and punctual.
