Sirlei’s Answer
Hi Luis A.,
When talking about skills, the 3 most important would likely be: attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and math (for calculating dimensions).
About the career opportunities, I would say: many career paths to choose from (welder, inspector, project management, sales, etc), traveling (if working on projects, could travel from site to site, nation/worldwide), very high demand for welders right now!
I hope this helps!
Best of luck.

It's hard physical work. You need to wear a mask and ear plugs. You will likely have to travel to make good money at times.
Thank you, Dirk "Dutch"!
