What are some good colleges to check out that could help educate me in computer science, software engineering, 2D and 3D animation, programming languages and computer design
I'm looking for colleges for my future so I can become a video game designer so any suggestions are very helpful.

Hi Smith,
This isn't exactly a specific list of colleges, but I recommend picking a couple colleges to research and look into their computer science department. Check what kind of classes they offer, and whether their alum tend to land jobs at companies that you're interested in. Specifically, see if the department teaches any game design classes (working in Unity, Blender, Maya, Rhino, etc.), and if you can find students that attend those schools, check to see if they have any portfolio websites and if the projects they worked on in classes were helpful for creating a portfolio of projects that can be talked about in interviews. Reaching out to professors and asking about the CS department or the classes and the curriculum they teach and how those can be beneficial to you in the real world when applying to game design or development jobs can also be insightful! Professors are generally very friendly (but don't be discouraged if they don't respond, they're also busy).
Most importantly, when picking a college, make sure you like it! You can always work on your game design and development outside of school (resources online, independent projects, etc.), so you want to make sure that you will enjoy the holistic experience that you will ultimately be paying tuition for.
