What is it like to be in a professional sorority?
I am thinking about joining the professional business sorority at my college next year. I don't really know much about it. Has any one had experience with professional sororities. I have heard a lot about social sororities. What is the difference between these two? #college #professional #sorority

Being in a professional Greek organization is one of the best things I did during my time in college. I don't want to generalize since they are very different depending on the school and the organization, but here is what you can expect to find:
- a great supportive community of like minded individuals who are interested in business
- training and tools to prepare you for a career in business (think networking, resume writing, interview workshops)
- community service opportunities
- social events
I loved it because you get the benefits of being in a social Greek organization plus the business training, support, and network. If you're undecided, I would suggest rushing (or whatever your college calls the process) both the social and business organizations and see where you fit in best. Most importantly, at the end of the day, choose based on the people because they are likely to be some of your closest friends during and after college.
