What are some good positions in culinary that allow you to travel?

I would like to find an occupation that allows to comfortably travel and do my job, preferably at the same time.

Thank you comment icon Hey! I love Danielle's answer of working on cruise ships. I would suggest also looking into becoming an inflight chef, prepping food on planes, which I think is a pretty rare position but sounds super cool. You could also look into freelancing -- maybe something that would be more attainable after you've built a name for yourself. But in theory, you'd be able to freelance to clients anywhere you want. It’s just a guess, but have you looked into working with cruise lines? The military has CS’s culinary specialists on ships as well. New duty stations every 2-3 years or so with plenty of opportunities to travel and pursue an education

Working on cruise ships, on yachts, on private jets, at hotels or for a celebrity who travels. You could also get hired on with a family that is wealthy and travels. I know of someone who is a chef on a boat with the Coast Guard.
