Randy’s Answer

Kyle,

Starting salaries will vary, depending on a few factors such as education, location, company, and experience (yes, experience can be factored in, even at the starting level).

There are a few resources online that share salary 'ranges', that could possibly help you narrow in on your role and compensation expectation.

Randy recommends the following next steps:

Google "levels fyi", and use their search function to see if your role, company, and location are available
Try Glassdoor's salary feature, as they give a general idea of salaries reported by users
The Indeed job-search platform also has salary information
Payscale, another career based online platform might have salary information for this role

Kevin’s Answer

As others have said, it would depend on many factors, including location, size of the firm, etc. However, I would caution that if you're trying to find out more about this job, starting salary is probably not the most important thing you should be looking into. You should be looking at if is a field that you can see yourself growing in and if you will find the work interesting to take on as a career.

Jessica’s Answer

I agree with the other comments. It depends on where you live and I'd recommend checking glassdoor.com. It also depends on the size of the company you are looking to work for.
