Not really ! If you are not managing lot of customer end projects , mostly you will end up in working in a fixed location. Collocate with team.
Team can be in multiple location (different countries too) and everything will be managed over Teams / Zoom call. Most of common day to day meetings are virtually handled.
Sometime Needed , Such as for project proposal , planning , get together , team events, when team needs to be collaborated, etc ...
As a leader your leaders expect you to travel and participate in such events.

Thank you for giving me advice.

Not that often. It depends if you have a global team or not and these days a lot of meetings are done over zoom or teams. Personally I have one international trip a year. It is always a good idea to have personal contact with your team members.

Adding to Dhanabal's answer... most positions in IT don't require a lot of travel. However I do have colleagues, specifically in IT Consulting, that have travelled to client sites.

This depends entirely on the type of work you are doing and which company you are doing it for!
At a large tech company, you might find yourself working with other engineers, product managers, or clients all around the world. Often, it is enough to collaborate virtually, but it is tremendously helpful to get real face time with colleagues, so much so that you will get sent to meet them.
I personally am an engineer, but before COVID would travel around twice a year for work.
