Interning gives you a way to find first if you like what it is you are learning about, and second, to find out what types of salary you may be able to obtain in that field. If after you intern for a few months you find you don't like what you are doing, then go intern for another type of company. There are so many ways to make money in this world, but happiness is much more important.
