Will I be canceled out if I choose to do two activities that will take up some time at work?
I raised this question because I am inclined to multitasking. For instance, I used to work at McDonald's, and had to seek for a second job while babysitting and sleeping.

The most important thing is to prioritize. Meaning making sure that the most important tasks are completed. In this fast-paced world, many of us multi-task and carry loads of multiple jobs and my advice is to stay organized to manage your time and to prioritize as to not overload yourself. Think about what's absolutely needs to get done in the next day or week and then everything push out so you can load balance.

I believe this is depending on your motivation and energy. if you are able to split your time and enjoy more jobs at the same time, all good. But I agree, multitasking sometimes does not support us to be at our best.
I would say, just run a pilot and you will discover very soon how you enjoy it/ able to manage.

I think as long as you have the motivation to juggle it all, it can be very worthwhile.
I used to work at a doctor's office by day and then I worked at Best Buy on nights and weekends.
Now, I'm in the Navy, but when I'm not working or on duty I run my own small business and attend college both online and in person.
Most sailors spend their off time volunteering, delivering pizzas, or running small businesses.
As long as you have time management skills, pursue things you love so that you don't get burnt out, and have the stamina to do it, I think keeping busy is phenomenal!
