Sikawayi’s Answer

Hello William, what a great question for someone who wants to learn about culinary training First of all you need to start out with the basics, study what types of different cooking elements there are to cook on like wood, gas electric and propane. Take as many cooking classes as possible you can get into so you can learn about the different pots and pans. There are a lot of things to learn before you can start to cook. Best of luck.

Langston’s Answer

Preparing cuisine is an artistry within it's self. You can find immense satisfaction in crafting and preparing meals for people. I would say to start you definitely need a passion for it. Gain basic culinary skills and knowledge through a culinary program at your local community college or institute, or seek employment a a local restaurant as a waiter or line cook and work your way up. Experience is the best way to learn technique and skill. Get serve safe certified. It is a food handler license and it will ensure you employment in any establishment that prepares food, ever restaurant must have one. It is fairly inexpensive and you can study for it without enrolling in classes. Good luck!
