Hello Francisco
my best advice is to take a class on it, most community colleges will have short courses on Welding and will have affiliations with hiring companies, check with the schools counselor and see what they have to offer, also workforce is a good source.
Best of luck

Hi Francisco,
Find a local school that teaches welding. Usually oxy acetylene is the first class due to the safety and basic skills aspect,so that you can safely cut the material to weld it.
Then I would suggest taking stick welding. Then you are ready to go to work! Once working as a welder then you can go to school more and try different types of welding such as pipe, mig and tig. There are a lot of types of welding jobs so I would try all kinds to see what you like the best. Good luck!
