This is definitely an evolving topic. I would recommend checking out a few job boards for available internship opportunities. A couple of great starting points are LinkedIn and internships.com.

Hello. Here is what I did during high school. I went up to a small business asking if they need an extra hand on social media. I would do some free work until I found someone that offered to pay me. This was a local flower shop in the greater Boston area. This was a great way to do what I know and work on what I need more practice on. Other way is what I see Dora has said. Linkedin and Indeed are great places to look. The last, most important, thing I can teach you for business is NETWORK. Ask teachers, family friends, the friend with a well-off uncle. Business is all about who you know, not what you know. You can learn the rest, but you have to know how to connect and network with others!!!

A lot of job boards will post internship level positions. They usually have a search feature to narrow it down (e.g. full time/part time/intern). Another resource would be your school's career center that can help guide you to open positions or sometimes even recommend you for the position based on their relationship with the employer.
