If you are a real estate agent with a college degree, what did you get your degree in?

If you are a real estate agent with a college degree, what did you get your degree in? #realestate

Thank you comment icon Hi! You do not need a college degree to be a real estate agent. You simply need to take a course for your state , pass the exam, and apply for your license. www.theceshop.com has online pre-licensing courses available. Adrienne Walstrum, M.S.M.

Agree with what everyone has said, though there are colleges/universities with undergraduate real estate degrees. OR you could get a Business Admin degree and take courses, certificates, etc. in real estate such as Real Estate Fundamentals, Finance, Development, etc. and then get further accreditations through your state's real estate association, or N.A.R. (national association of realtors).

A lot of people get a real estate degree as an afterthought. But if I were to get a real estate degree as a main goal and was getting a college degree prior to I would choose a degree in business or perhaps a technical degree in interior design landscape design or a technical degree in plumbing or electrician or surveying. Just think about anything that has to do with building construction design or any aspect of putting in a house from the ground up or redesigning a house. Any of those fields would be of benefit

I would suggest looking into business related courses because real estate degree tends to be more popular among graduate students. You can also look up economics courses, a degree in sustainable development, maybe even design. There is a variety that fits in well with a degree in real estate and it really depends on what you are interested in.
