Hi Monique,
So there are a few positions you can hold at an orthodontic office. There front desk positions, where you would be answering the phone, scheduling appointments, filing insurance and arranging financial plans for patients. There are multiple positions working directly with patients placing their braces and making adjustments to their braces. There are also lab assistant positions that would be make appliances. Most of the jobs you can be trained on the job, some require some formal training. Of course there is the doctor ( the orthodontist) that would require 4 yrs of college then 4 years of dental school, and the a couple of years doing an orthodontic residency. I hope I have answered your question!
